E-mail and Internet usage policy

Although there is no requirement on UK businesses to have a formal e-mail and Internet usage policy, it is best practice to clearly set out to your employees acceptable levels of use of company property and also what is acceptable during work time. As an employer the choice is yours to determine what you feel is acceptable or not, however the most important thing to ensure is that your employees are made aware of this.
